       Sailor- 2006

We miss our happy chocolate lab. Always ready with a smile for anyone he met.

Payton really misses you too. It's just not the same without you.

I know you learned to use those wings.

Gabriel-My Angel Girl

I don't know where you were before 1998.

You taught me the true meaning of a rescue. So different from your sisters, who took

everything for granted. You were so greatful. You would wait by the window and wait for me.

If you could not find me, you would be frantic. I could go on and on about what a good dog you were.

So sweet, the best, I'm sorry I had to make that dreadful decision.

You are everywhere in the house, you are at my side. You were better than human.

I love you and miss you and I hope we meet again, my best friend ever.

I know your at the gates of heaven sitting and waiting for me.

     Rummel-August 2005

Rummel was a great protector! A loyal friend and companion. His life in this world was too short.

We miss you Rummel.

     Mr.Cookie November 2005

You had more friends than anyone else I've ever known.

People ran over to see you.

If by chance you were not with me, people asked where you were...It was not normal

to see me anywhere without you. You taught me about life and how to enjoy life.

You understood me and taught me unconditional love...and you taught me never to take

love for granted. I learned this and much more, because of you, my best friend.

 Our years were too few.

       Pie-December 2005

We are sorry to say we have lost another sweetheart. Pie will be missed for she was friendly and affectionate. A real sweetie-pie.

     Dakota     November-2005

We will truly miss this boy. A friend to all he met.

           Gwen-February 2006

It won't be the same without Gwen in our lives anymore. The house is so quiet, Nigel and Emmy

really miss you and so do your Mom and Dad.

            Diogi-May 2006

The house seems so empty without you.  You were my savior, my solace and my best
friend and the best protector and watch dog ever.   Even though you are no longer on
this earth, I feel your presence everywhere and know you are still watching over me.
You will truly be missed.  A day doesn't go by when I don't think about you.
I hope you are now resting peacefully and no longer suffering.   The rest of your family
misses you as well and we all feel your life on this earth was way too short.
 Marilyn, Sam and Darrel

Your years in this world were too short. We're all so very sorry that we had to loose you

at such a young age. We miss you Hudson.

               BJ    May 23, 1995 ~ January 30, 2009

You  entered  Doreen’s  life  in  the  summer  of  1995  just  one  day  old  by  a  neighborhood  boy  who  found  you  after  a  lawn  mower  took  the  lives  of  the  other  kittens  in  your  family. Your  mother  cat  moved  on  thinking  you  went  to  heaven  when  in  fact  you  were  placed  in  the  hands  of  an  angel  who  rescues  animals.  Your  size  when  found  would  fit  in  a  coffee  mug,  your  cry  would  touch  everybody  hearts.  Because  of  your  size  you  were carried  around  in  a  bucket  for  your  safety.  For  all  the  coming  days  and  nights  as  you  were  hand  feed  with  a  eye  dropper  a  special  bond  grew  that  could  not  be  broken.  In  this  household  you  were  joined  by  your  half  brother  Blackie  who  was  found  looking for food  in  a  dumpster  and  a  female  named  Sammy. A  small  dog  named  Mikie  also  help  raise  you  which  would  explain  why  you  would  always  trot  like  a  dog.
As  years  pass  I  came  into  your  life  in  the  winter  of  1997  when  I  met  Doreen,  from  the  first  time  we  met  you  would  sit  on  my  lap  when  I  would  fall  asleep  on  the  couch.  You  would  sit  on  the  sink  in  the  bathroom  waiting  for  a  drink  of  water  while  I  took  a  shower.  You  would  not  leave  my  side.
After  Doreen  and  I  married  when  you  would  trot  into  the  room  you  would  light  the  room  up.  When  I  came  down  with  cancer  you  would  always  try  to  take  the  pain  from  me  by  making  me  think  of  other  things. When  Doreen  gave  birth  to  a  baby  boy  you  made  sure  he  was  OK  by  being  close  to  the  baby  and  when  the  baby  would  cry  you  would  check  him.  When  the  baby  got  older  you  would  sleep  with  him.  When  we  found  out  that  he  had  autism  you   gave  us comfort.  When  Cody  got  older  you   would  not  bit  him  when  his  play  would  scare  the  other  cats  away.
My  dear  close  friend  BJ  we  will  all  miss  you.  You  have  touched  so  many  people  and  I  am  so  very  sorry  that  you  are  not  with  us  anymore. As  I  always  promised  you  that  I  would  take  care  of  you,  I  am  also  sorry  for  the  cancer  that  took  your  life  I  could  not  stop  nor  fix  it  for  you.  We  will  some  day  meet  in  heaven  and  play  like  old  times.

LOVE  ALWAYS   Doreen, Smitty, Cody, Blackie, Sammy
