  • How far in advance do we need to book a pet sitter?

    A weeks notice is usually sufficient. Except in the Summer months and any Holidays,it's best to call at least two weeks in advance. If you are already a client and have an emergency, we can come on a short notice.

  • How long do you stay when you come in to care for my pets?

    Our visits consist of a half hour stay. Our service time starts the time we arrive at your home, up to and including, dog walking, feeding & watering, clean up and other other needs that must be attended to. This is usually enough time to care for your pet. In some instances, we may be required to stay a while longer. This would be due to a messy pet or many pets in one home.

    Our daily dog walks consist of a 20 minute visit. Our service time also starts at the time we arrive at your home. If you would like a longer visit please read our rate page. As this will tell you how much additional time will cost.

  • What happens if my pet gets sick while I'm away?

    If your pet becomes ill while you are away, we will take your pet to your vet. This is why we must have emergency telephone numbers, where we can reach you when you are away on vacation. We will also notify any relatives, by phone, that you have left on our contract.

     

  • What if my Dog won't let you in the house?

    Well, sometimes this job is not so easy. But we haven't run into a situation so far, that we haven't been able to work out with your dog. Animals are very sensitive and they seem to know why we are there. This is why we also meet with you to see if our personalities (Your Dogs and the sitter) are in sync. Pet Sitters must be very sensitive, also!

  • How do I know the person who is coming into my home is trustworthy?

    You must remember we are are family owned and operated business. And have been serving Staten Island for over fifeteen years. Anyone that is not family, has had a background check done.We are a small service and take pride in doing a great job. We also respect your privacy.
